CLIFTON PARK, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- The Southern Saratoga YMCA is hosting a Chicken & Pickle fundraiser on Thursday, November 2. Members and non-members can enjoy a mouthwatering Brooks BBQ chicken dinner and an evening of pickleball for $35. Get the latest news, weather, sports and entertainment delivered right to your inbox! Patrons can arrive anytime between 4 and 6 p.m. to pick up their meals. Pickleball will begin at 5:30 p.m. with a round-robin format. The YMCA encourages players to register soon as there are only 16 spots available.The fundraiser will be held outdoors, weather permitting, so patrons are encouraged to dress accordingly. In the case of inclement weather, the event will be moved indoors. For those interested in just the dinner, a meal that includes a half chicken, baked potato, macaroni salad, and a roll with butter costs $20. ST. LOUIS – A PBS show featuring many Missouri farmers, restaurants, and entrepreneurs is back on-air. Cat Neville's show TasteMakers continues her local exploration of the craft food movement. Episodes of the third season of this Emmy-nominated program premiere in October on 95 percent of PBS stations.Foodies in St. Louis have likely heard the name Cat Neville before. She started a website called Sauce in 1999 before the print edition started appearing in stores and newsstands in 2001. ST. LOUIS -- Meteorologist Chris Higgins reports that areas of soaking rain will continue through early this afternoon before kicking off to the east. There will be no flooding or severe weather, although there will be the obvious impact of wet roads to deal with through early afternoon.Gusty winds and chilly temperatures will take control for Friday and Saturday, with partly to mostly sunny skies. Woman Pronounced Dead after Pedestrian Accident near Indian School RoadPHOENIX, AZ (October 5, 2023) – Early Friday morning, a hit-and-run pedestrian collision occurred on 91st Avenue that resulted in the death of one woman.Officers responded shortly past 1:00 a.m. on September 22nd, near Indian School Road.Under unclear circumstances, the driver of an eastbound vehicle struck a female pedestrian as she was crossing Indian School Road outside of a marked crosswalk. After the collision, the driver immediately fled the scene.Emergency medical personnel rushed to the scene and transported the critically injured woman to a nearby hospital, where she ultimately succumbed to her wounds.As of now, the suspect responsible for the hit-and-run remains at large.
