DENVER (KDVR) — Very little seems to sour homebuyers in the Denver metro area. The Front Range housing market has been characterized by limited supply, limited development and stratospheric prices for the better part of three years. This would require a roughly $200,000 household income, assuming current interest rates, a 30-year mortgage and a 20% down payment. This is the household income threshold for the top 10% of American households, according to the World Economic Forum. (CNN) — Special counsel prosecutors have secured evidence including daily notes, texts, emails and photographs and are focused on cataloguing how Donald Trump handled classified records around the Mar-a-Lago resort and those who may have witnessed the former president with them, according to multiple sources familiar with the investigation. The new details come amid signs the Justice Department is taking steps typical of near the end of an investigation. The recent investigative activity before a federal grand jury in Washington, DC, also includes subpoenaing witnesses in March and April who had previously spoken to investigators, the sources said. While the FBI interviewed many aides and workers at Mar-a-Lago nearly a year ago voluntarily, grand jury appearances are transcribed and under-oath — an indication the prosecutors are locking in witness testimony. The focus of both the mishandling of records and obstruction of justice probes has remained on the actions of the for...Concerns remain in Braintree after February fire at Clean Harbors site

Boston politics can go home from October 2022, but it can never leave. The redistricting spectacle was back in the spotlight on multiple fronts on Monday, when a sitting congressman was testifying in federal court against the council’s process from this past fall and a city councilor filed a hearing order seeking to have the body go back and look at it all again.A cast of Boston political characters coalesced at the John Joseph Moakley U.S. Courthouse in what was day four of at least six in a series of proceedings that will come before a judge will decide whether to implement a preliminary injunction to stop implementation of the map the council passed last fall. The proceedings, which have already included the testimony of three current or former city councilors, continue to rehash the arguments on October, with the councilors representing South Boston and Dorchester and their allies alleging that the mapmakers acted improperly in the changes they made to Dot-centric District 3...Trump has ‘commanding lead’ over DeSantis in Massachusetts Republican primary poll conducted after indictment

Ron DeSantis and the Republican-controlled Florida Legislature against the company that threaten jobs or expansion at its Florida resort is not only “anti-business … but anti-Florida.”Answering a question during an online shareholders’ meeting, Iger said that the Republican governor and lawmakers appeared to be retaliating against the company for exercising its constitutional rights. He referred to the incident last year when Disney criticized Florida’s law dubbed by critics “Don’t Say Gay” while Bob Chapek was helming the company at the time. The measure bars instruction on sexual orientation and gender identity in kindergarten through third grade, as well as lessons deemed not age-appropriate.In response, Florida lawmakers passed, and DeSantis signed, legislation revamping the government-like board that oversees Walt Disney World’s 27,000-...Latest news
